I think I'm the one needing a re-placement

1. a new heart;
2. a new knee (honestly);
3. a new outlook on life/art;
4. a new lamp for old (magic);
5.
6. It's the bathroom sink

7. that
8. needs a replacement
9. faucet-
10. a no-leak one;
11. contemporary look;
12.That's all.
13. &
14. It's purchased. &
15. we both like it.
16. I decide
17. I'm going to do the job...

18. right.
19.
20. box w/new $300 faucet rests on a shelf.
21. box with shiny cover plate is there too,
22. the faucet & the cover plate
23. filling space on the office table;
24. sitting silently on the hardwood floor (beside the trash can)...
25. with some wrenches & pliers, a screw driver...

26. to possibly begin
27. the job;
28.
29. Yes, I can do it.
30.
31. Put it off for 1/2 a year
32. as
33. the old one continues to leak.
34.
35. I am going to do the job. You'll see.
36. It's me vs. the end of the world, death & failure.
37. It's the one thing I'm going to do while my wife in in NYC.

Of course there are various snags beyond the upside-down working situation, head on wall or even harder tile floor, such as frozen bottom lock nuts, narrower pre-installed flex water lines, 3 trips to the hardware store, a continuing leak at one of the new wall connectors (reapply teflon tape &/or brushable teflon sealant 4X, the hot water line), a crazy zig-zag main outlet drainpipe w/another slight leak...
